Lucofin®, is the basis for recycling various plastics and supports the circular economy

Thermoplastic polyolefins play a decisive role in the circular economy, as they are among the most frequently used products. Material flows from the post-consumer (PC) sector in particular are often a mixture of different products. Not all fractions can currently be sorted by type or composite materials can be separated.

Lucofin® can be seen as a chemical bridge between different plastics. The extremely good polarity combines different products to form a processable material mixture. With its excellent toughness, Lucofin® ensures a reusable end product. The good temperature resistance enables processing up to 280 °C, so that polyester or polyamides can also be processed in blends with thermoplastic polyolefins.

Recyclability and reusability

Lucofin® thus supports the recycling of plastics in the circular economy and makes a decisive contribution to reducing waste, conserving resources and extending the service life of plastic products.

Durability and resistance

Thermoplastic polyolefins are extremely durable and resistant. They can withstand the stresses of daily use and require less frequent replacement. This not only avoids waste, but also extends the service life of products.
