LUCOBIT develops compounds for use in plastic films for hygiene products such as nappies and feminine hygiene products.
This compound sets new standards for breathable films in products such as baby diapers, adult incontinence products and feminine hygiene products. The special features of this Lucofin® compound are:
- Versatile application possibilities: Our compound enables the production of plastic films with a CaCO3 content of up to 70%, which offers our customers a wide range of possible applications.
- Light Weight, High Performance: Weighing less than 15gsm, our compound offers the ability to produce lighter weight films without compromising stretchability.
- Excellent breathability: The plastic films on the back show an above-average water vapor permeability (WVTR) from 3000 gr/m2/day to more than 7500 gr/m2/day (Moccon).
- Velvety-soft surface: Our films are not only technologically advanced, but also offer a soft and silky surface.
- With a CaCO3 content of up to 80%, our compound can be used as a masterbatch to realize a wide range of CaCO3 contents in breathable diaper films.
- Easy processing and good stretch properties: Our product is characterized by easy processing and forms a stable bubble when producing blown films. The film can be easily stretched, which means higher productivity can be achieved.
