LUCOBIT's climate protection commitments reach a new dimension: Our goals are in line with the standards of the Paris Climate Protection Agreement and set a clear path for a sustainable future.
1.5 degree reduction path for own emissions
In line with the 1.5 degree target of the Paris Agreement, we have set an ambitious reduction path for our direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) emissions. By 2030, we are aiming for an impressive reduction of 42 percent compared to the base year 2022.
Extensive Scope 3 commitment
But that's not all: we will also reduce our Scope 3 emissions, which relate to external sources, by 30 percent over the same period - a significant step towards further minimizing our CO₂ footprint.
Our long-term vision is clear: we have set ourselves the ambitious goal of completely eliminating our CO₂ emissions by 2050. A milestone that underlines not only our determination but also our commitment to a sustainable and low-carbon future.
