During Wire 2010 in Duesseldorf, LUCOBIT AG visited several customers to meet and greet but also to discuss actual market situation and expectations for 2010. The Wire 2010 started in a good and rather positive mood due to the fact that economic situation is recovering from the recession. The year 2009 was difficult for many of us. The year 2010 showed after the recovery in the second half of 2009 for most markets a positive start leading to careful but optimistic expectations for the outlook of 2010. LUCOBIT AG sees positive developments in various wire and cable applications, especially in the field of HFFR-, semiconductive and jacketing compounds in which the use of EBA based polymers is of particular advantage. LUCOBIT AG is looking for companies with whom we can make joint developments in respect to wire and cable compounds. Although the mood was positive during the fair, returning home on Friday caused for many some unexpected difficulties due to EYJAFJALLAJÖKULL which forced us to be innovative getting back home.
