Established in Milan, Italy, in 2007, R&D InnovAction offers services for technical and commercial support along the whole plastics manufacturing industry supply chain, particularly to cable manufacturers, compounding companies and raw material suppliers. The aim of R&D InnovAction is to help its customers developing innovative solutions to improve their competitive advantage. We are a team of people with more than 20 years experience in the field of Wire & Cable, specifically in materials, process technologies (extrusion and compounding), industrial efficiency and commercial/market analysis. R&D InnovAction carries out its activities through resources with the best competences in the specific fields supported by a laboratory network able to offer the best infrastructures at international level with full respect of the industrial proprietary.

At present R&D InnovAction is supporting LUCOBIT AG in some projects in order to define technical solutions where the use of LUCOBIT’s products will offer a competitive advantage on the marketplace; fields of special interest are HFFR jacketing compound and semiconductive compound for MV and HV cables.

In addition to the cooperation with LUCOBIT AG, R&D InnovAction is carrying out other projects like:
• a new family of raw materials for W&C compounds based on recycled materials
• compound for shoe soles with enhanced performance
• rationalization of compound formulations for cost savings and output improvements.
