[ Trade Fairs ] New main focus HOLZ+DACH confirms LUCOBIT is on the right track
The organizers call it "The fair’s new main focus". The HOLZ+DACH International trade fair in Stuttgart is the new leading trade fair for roof, wall and timber constructions. This "top class meeting" was created from merging the two trade fairs "DACH+WAND" and "HOLZBAU+AUSBAU" and is seen as the most important meeting point of the trade. About 50,000 visitors came to Stuttgart between March 5 and 8.

Main focal points of the fair were roofs, walls and flat roof sealing as well as timber and interior construction. The focal point "flat roof" demonstrated to the experts from small trades and medium sized businesses as well as constructers, architects, engineers and developers how to prepare a flat roof for its special requirements.

Flat roofs belong to the group of construction parts that are heavily strained. Extreme heat during the summer caused by direct exposure to the sun as well as temperatures far below zero during the winter or contining rainfall and heavy hail greatly strain flat roof constructions. The trade fair showed in technical discussion that modern plastic sealing sheeting e.g. made from ECB, TPO/ FPO offer high durability and provide protection against extrem weather conditions.

Also, the flat roof exhibit in Hall 7 revealed that the professional manufacturing - especially of seamed joints - is indispensable for a permanently sealed roof. Some of the most important properties concern the materials’ applicability (easy to install), reaction to extreme weather conditions and its depths. Robert Riegler, CEO of LUCOBIT AG: "We have obviously been on the right track. Our quality materials for sealing sheeting meet the requirements set by the brand and the environment".
