Lucopren® - material TPE

Lucopren® is a raw material which can be processed like a standard thermoplastic material and which shows elastomeric & rubbery properties.These properties arise from the homogeneous incorporation of amorphous elastomeric parts in a thermoplastic matrix based on semicrystalline polymers.

Thus Lucopren® combines the base properties of elastomers with the processing advantages of known thermoplastic raw materials (such as PP, PE or engineering plastics). Flexible products made of Lucopren® have excellent haptic and optical properties as well as a rubber-like nature.

Additional cross-linking is not necessary. Final products made of Lucopren® are 100% recyclable and therefore constitute a good ecological alternative to soft PVC.
