Injection moulding is the most widespread method for plastics processing. Its main area of use is for the mass production of articles.To be precise, however, injection moulding is only a generic term, because widely differing processes are available. These range from thermoplastic, thermoset, and elastomer over multi-component injection moulding up to the in-mould process, depending on the application. LUCOBIT AG offers a wide assortment of materials for injection moulding. Particularly in the field of soft and elastic materials, situated in the transition area from soft polyolefins up to even softer TPEs, LUCOBIT research has come up with a highly varied product range with numerous application possibilities. Primarily, the range includes supersoft PE, PP, and TPE compounds as well as special reactor qualities. Amongst other characteristics, the recipes exhibit very good bonding properties with other plastics.
As a special service, LUCOBIT AG also offers the development of customized material recipes. For this purpose, there is a Material Development Request application form on our website. Applicants can give details on the profile of the required material,which are then forwarded to our development department. Speedily and without any obligations, they check if and how a suitable recipe can be engineered to meet their specifications.
