Asphalt
LUCOBIT AG has a long tradition and established specialist knowledge in the production of materials for road construction. For example, our patented ECB material Lucobit® 1210A developed by BASF SE has enjoyed a successful career in asphalt modification since the 1970s.

Many of the road surfaces modified with the use of ECB are still fully functional today. Even under extreme loads and in extreme climate conditions, no cracks, distortions or material breaks appear. This was also confirmed in various surveys carried out by independent institutes, such as the Engineering Society for Technical Analytics (IFTA) in Essen.

A comprehensive range of products for asphalt modification and for bitumen polymer modification has been created on the basis of many years of experience and intensive research. Furthermore, we also offer special hard bitumen for the production of cold asphalt and melted asphalt paving.

Increasing the qualitative characteristics of the end product is as much a focal area as the opportunities for efficient and economical processing.
